Jumping into July
Some new adventures
We want to share some slices of life from the last couple of weeks. We will start with some of the mission moments, so you do not think we are always climbing volcanos.
One of our favorite activities is teaching a class on Emotional Resilience. Here is the Wednesday's class.
We help missionaries coming and going from the Quito West mission. Some of our best missionaries enjoyed Jenny’s waffles before they left for home.

On Tuesday a neighbor was super nice and took us to a nearby volcano, Antisana. The amazing surprise was that some condors appeared which is really rare. We first saw just one but then several more joined it. It is not obvious in the first picture though they are all there. The second picture shows them after I zoomed in though still more difficult than real life to see.

Amanda and Robby visited us this week which was super nice of them. We showed them our favorites at the historical center, the Ecuadorian artist, Oswaldo Guayasamin, and the Indigenous area of Otavalo. Robby did some great dealing at the mercado and loved some soccer.

We love the Ecuadorian fruit. Here are some examples. Robby and Amanda amazed us with their enthusiasm to try new flavors.

Thanks again for sharing! You are having an extraordinary adventure while serving and making the world a better place. Congratulations!
Love, Alice and Val
